Delete your data
Last updated August 23, 2026
BookMyCal does not require a BookMyCal account for local use. Data can exist in several places, so use the steps that match the features you enabled.
- Close the guest booking tab to clear its short-lived session retry data. An expired retry record is also rejected and removed when that page is opened again.
- Stop active booking links in BookMyCal under Shared Links and verify that each affected link says Stopped. The app and protected service then retire the page's notification-device registration during reconciliation or a periodic live-page check.
- Delete events and meetings you created. Removing the app does not remove events already saved in Apple Calendar.
- Delete the BookMyCal app to remove its local database from the device. The private encryption key stored in iOS Keychain may survive an uninstall. Deleting the app cannot itself contact the service, so any uncontacted notification-device registration remains only until its page or seven-day service limit expires.
- Request removal of online booking records and associated short-lived service receipts by emailing support. Include the booking-page ID or complete link, but do not include guest notes, credentials, or private keys. Expiry or revocation stops a link from being usable; it does not prove every underlying CloudKit or Cloudflare record has already been erased.
Deletion requests
Email admin@bookmycal.app. We will distinguish a host request from a guest request and may ask for the booking-page ID, request ID, or enough information to verify control without collecting the encrypted note. We will not ask for your password or private encryption or link-control key.
